HandsOn Central California

HandsOn Central California is a nonprofit volunteer engagement agency that has been serving Central California since 1962. Their mission is to engage inspired networks of passionate people with powerful causes for meaningful change in the community. HandsOn Central California works to connect people who want to volunteer to serve their community to the agencies who need them which will result in helping meet community needs. HandsOn sponsors the AmeriCorps Seniors Retired Senior Volunteer Program for individuals 55+ who want to volunteer in the community. AmeriCorps Seniors leverages the time, skills, experience, and passion of older adults to work on community needs. The program is designed to help volunteers 55+ find a safe, engaging volunteer opportunity and support them throughout that process. We make sure that volunteers receive the appropriate training and tools for the tasks they are being asked to do. We will be there to help you and cheer you on. We will be your biggest fan! We treat AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP volunteers like the amazing, wonderful stars that they are.
